The Humphreys Group, a San Francisco-based registered funding advisor with about $280 million in consumer property, has merged with Treehouse Wealth Advisors, a Walnut Creek, Calif.-based RIA with $190 million.
The deal is a part of a long-term succession plan for Diane Bourdo, president of The Humphreys Group, who expects to retire within the subsequent two to 3 years.
The Humphreys Group was based in 1983 by Henrietta “Henri” Humphreys, a trailblazer in fee-only monetary planning. Bourdo joined in 1989 and have become president in 2005. The agency is female-owned and makes a speciality of ESG investing and dealing with girls in transition, resembling divorce, profession change and retirement.
When Bourdo started looking for a agency to merge with, she partnered with Past AUM, a wealth administration consulting company, to assist with the matchmaking and due diligence.
Treehouse is a female-led agency based by Julie Meissner.
